It entered the British chart soon after release, but, ironically enough, was blocked from the Number One position for six weeks by the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest winner, 'Save Your Kisses For Me'.

Stig Anderson had negotiated a deal with the authorities in the USSR to supply them with copies of the 'Greatest Hits' album, and insisted on being paid in American dollars, as Russian currency was virtually worthless in the Western world. " Another Eastern European country, Poland, invited ABBA to Warsaw to make a TV special shortly before the release of the 'Arrival' album, and their acceptance contributed strongly to the album selling over three quarters of a million copies in Poland.
